Tobias Totz is a pensioner who lives alone. He used to be zoo keeper and the lion is still his best friend. Tobias is old and experienced and when there are any problems at the zoo, which the animals or the awkward zoo director cannot solve - Tobias is called in. Tobias approaches difficulties with calm composure - and a big helping of humour!
